02/09/2012. Nearly didnt go when I read the previous reviews, but so glad we did, we were a party of 10, cannot fault anything, superb meal, good value, lovely waiters, & will definately be going back!
13 July 2012. I arranged to have a works night out at Vamasaki restaurant in Northwich as Id heard some OK reviews, as it happens, this is the way the evening panned out;We arrived at 20:00 as per my booking, we were shown to our table where we ordered Papadoms, and this is where it all went Pete Tong ! The Papadoms were at best rubbery (Obviously last night re-heated) then we ordered drinks (Vodka Lime & Soda) my drink was flat & was informed that the ice must have melted (From the bar which was 4 feet away) the main course: the presentation was lovely which only served to hide the fact that it was sub-standard i.e. the meat was chewy and all-in-all was very lack-lustre – no flavour at all ! my friend asked the waiter for a curry without the sauce, but the waiter decided he knew better and bullied her into having the sauce (Probably because it was prepared last night along with everything else.Price wise – way too much for the quality of the food & the service was sadly lacking.Anyway this is just my opinion.
