Brilliant pies. A little expensive but quality!!!!
The earlier reviews do not tale on to account that the Frier has changed (He ran another local fish and chip shop in the High Street.) Customer deals by text and a long line on a Friday will tell you this is a good establishment. The 5 star for scores on doors beats many locations and speaks to the owners attitude. Chips are lined up in hoppers waiting to be fried and fish is always tasty. Restaurant it self is no frills but the service is speedy.
Fantastic Fish and Chips. Had a meal in there today. Service was Excellant, just been refurbished and it looks incredible very very clean restaurant. The service was excellant staff very friendly fantastic grilled seabass with new potatoes and wife had battered cod and chips and was truely blown away. Reccommend to all best fish and chips ive ever had please go and visit worth every penny.

Greasy and felt like the fish had been cooked for a while, and re dipped into oil to re heat. Hence greasy, and fish was grey, instead of nice white flesh. Will not be revisiting
Sorry chaps this is not real fish and chips. Was very excited when this first opened up as decent chippies are rare to find. Tried it when it first opened and was just reminded of cheap fairground food and unfortunately, when I gave them a second chance the food was no better and there was less of it – although maybe this was a blessing in disguise?????
