The food is something to die for at the place, if you’re a muglai foodie then this is the finest establishment to serve you. I highly recommend the lamb chops and the lamb curry. Delish. Chicken wasn’t bad either. For the vegetarians the dal makhani is worth the hype. You won’t be disappointed. No wonder reservations are difficult over here. Only the 7o’clock window or the 9o’clock window only on Friday’s and Saturday’s. And boy is it packed or what. Overall a great evening with the family. Post which youngsters can indulge in sheesha and booze at the back. Uh huh.

We visited Namaste Lounge for shisha and tea on a quiet Monday evening – shisha was disappointing and the tea was poor (tough to get wrong), and the service was, for want of a better word, grumpy. Having visited Namaste previously, where the food was great, and the service fantastic, I was surprised at my recent experience, maybe the shisha side is managed separately.

Went early to avoid the crowd and get parking so arrived around 5pm. I don’t think you will ever get parking inside as it looks like the staff and management use this space for themselves. Namaste lounge is a great place to eat and even the outdoor space is great when the weather is nice as it’s been designed well. Really enjoyed the food and price in line with other similar indian establishments. Think we went a little too early as staff where still just arriving so drinks did take some time but soon into our meal staff started coming in and very attentive. Had a range of starters from chilli paneer to kebabs etc and all the food was well presented and tastes very fresh and would highly recommend. The three sauces where also great. I will be going again. The only thing that’s missing is authentic indian desserts other than kulfi but they still have a good range of western desserts. m3jal.com

I really liked the food here. The only problem is that it gets really busy on Fridays and Saturdays, this includes the shisha lounge (which by the way is cash only so not very convenient). But other than that the drinks are amazing and not that expensive.

Sort out the management, a lick of paint and your onto a sure winner!. Lets be honest, the food is great, right balance of spice and fresh ingredients! The shisha area has a great service and good product. The venue is a tad dated, but is acceptable for a local haunt after work. But the real issue is the management! On numerous visits the female manager has absolutely no manners, always has a grim look on her face and fails to consider the regulars feedback.I would love for this place to get a face lift and have more friendly management! Sort it out and you will get more customers, popularity and positive feedback!

Namaste Lounge – AVOID!!!!!!!!!. YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE YOU CONSIDERING BOOKING. This is our 2nd visit here and will be our LAST. The service here is the worst you can possibly imagine. Having reserved our table over the phone, we were told there would be live music at 9:00pm with dancing to follow. We changed our booking to coincide with this time from 8pm to 9pm. On Friday, it took 15mins for someone to come and ask us for drinks and give us a menu. It then took over 1hour 10mins for our starters to arrive, despite constant promises and reminders. Our food only finally arrived after we threatened to walk out after getting especially fed up with their excuses about how they were struggling to cope. This was not just our experience, but tables around us had also been waiting for over an hour to be served with their first course. When the food did arrive, unbelievably the glasses, jugs & cutlery supplied were not washed and had particles/food floating in the water, and was simply too disgusting to drink. We decided to leave the restaurant without ordering mains as the service was so slow and poor, and went to eat mains elsewhere. The manager was especially rude, and refused to apologise and refused to reduce the bill in view of the extremely poor service which we experienced. She should not be in charge of any restaurant as she clearly has no understanding of the hospitality industry which she works in, and this is the second time that she has been downright rude to diners who were at our table. They even had the audacity to try and add a 12.5% service charge which we refused to pay. By the way, no music, live band, or dancing took place despite their claims on the website and over the phone, at least until 11:30 when we left. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told he was too busy in the kitchen (they obviously don’t have enough chefs to prepare), after having first made me wait for him for 20mins. This place is undoubtedly the worst dining experience you can possible imagine, with waiting staff who are visibly exasperated with the number of complaints received continuously and unable to do anything about it. The manager is the rudest person you will ever come across; to the point she accused us of lying. At which point we paid the bill and left without ordering the mains. I have never written a review before, but felt compelled to do so as this ruined a Friday night for us, and moreover we were subjected to the worst service you can possibly experience. THERE ARE MANY BETTER LOCAL CONTEMPORARY INDIAN DINING EXPERIENCES, with excellent service and better quality food than this place. GO HERE AT YOUR OWN PERIL, and don’t be fooled by the flash website.
