I have been a regular, loyal customer to this place. The presentation and taste of the food is usually very good and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a good family vibe. However, since the time this place has been refurbished, we have had terrible experiences in terms of service and hospitality. On the relaunch of this place after refurbishment, we waited for 25 minutes to get seated. Moreover, after placing the order, our food arrived after another 45 minutes. This was a total let down, even though the food was of decent standards. It was a very disappointing experience. Even during our subsequent visit, the service was very poor and slow, and they made us to sit at a very noisy corner full of screaming children. The portions of the food have also got smaller after the relaunch, in addition to the ambience getting dirtier. This place needs to seriously reconsider its service and food portions.
Due to some changes in plan, we took a last minute decision to visit this place and certainly we came out happy. The decor of the place was soothing and nice, Service was quite efficient and our meal was appealing, appetizing and delectable. I would surely recommend this place to every one!
The place is extremely relaxing and welcoming. The atmosphere is comfortable and enticing. We ordered crackerjack prawns and ribs. The food is delicious and flavoursome. Also, the portion size is great and we got the leftover dish packed. On another upside, the service is pleasing and attentive without being intrusive. Great place!
I had a sumptuous meal at this restaurant. The winner among all the dishes for me were the ribs as they were lip smacking and really delicious. The salad bar offered us with fresh options to choose from. We managed all this and even a caramel dessert all for 10 pounds! I would highly recommend this place!
I have been to various branches of this chain and had some bad experiences over a period of time. I wasn’t willing to go this time but I rather went as I wasn’t paying. I have to say that the refurbished restaurant won me back over. It was way better than what I had seen in in the past. The new salad bar as well as the selection was great. Though it was a Sunday afternoon and people were constantly flocking to the place, it never reached to the point where people had to wait for their turn in long queues. The staff was also very friendly. Overall, a very nice experience when compared to my previous ones.
We thought of giving this place a try as it is just down the road. The interiors are pretty good but once we were seated, I noticed that the table next to us was covered with food. The waitress attending us did see it, but nonetheless she had just reset the table again. The menu given to us was ripe and dirty while the cutlery was also tarnished. I ordered spare rib pork while my friend had to order sirloin streak as these people do not have any options in veg. I enjoyed my pork but streak was not good as these people had run out of mushrooms. Along with this, we had a couple of small cokes for drinks for which we were charged nearly 5 pounds. I was highly disappointed with this place and do not plan to come back here.
We visited this place on Monday and found that this place was pretty busy on a Monday as well. After ordering the popular drinks available there, we got to know that there was some fault in the drinks machine due to which it had stopped working. Unfortunately, there was a common supply for popular drinks and soft drinks machine. So the staff had to go out to get soft drinks and they did take quite a lot of time to return but anyhow, the food was pretty good and we did enjoy every bit of it. Since there was no unlimited fill for the soft drinks, the manager agreed to refund the costs but apparently when the bill came It was more of a mission to get the staff’s attention to the bill as we were overcharged. I feel the management should look into it.
