Came and had dinner here this evening for work purposes. I started with beaded mushrooms with a cheese sauce they were lovely, for mains I got a full rack of ribs with fries that was lovely also nicely flamed grilled taest. Desert was the honey combe Sunday that was devin. The sever tara was very friendly and polite.
We had to wait for forty minutes to be seated but it was fair enough as it was busy. Later on, it took them another twenty minutes to get the food on our table. Our order consisted of potatoes and chicken. The boiled potatoes were dark brown, overcooked and tasteless. The waitress did offer to change them but I refused and just stuck with the salad bar. My partner’s chicken was under cooked and we sent it back. The waitress did offer us to only pay twenty-five per cent of the bill which we accepted as it was fair enough considering we sent the chicken back. The tables were not properly cleaned and the restrooms were untidy. we will not be coming back here again as we did not have a pleasing experience for the very first time.
This traditional fine dine restaurant is a must try for everybody. Excellent , delicious food. Great varieties of beer, served well. Even the staff is efficient and friendly. I would love to visit the restaurant again and enjoy the heart rendering , lovely dishes. Highly recommended for food lovers, just keep in mind to book the table since it gets a bit crowded on weekends and rush hours.
