I only ever come here for breakfast, so I’m not sure how the other meals are. But every time I leave I find myself craving the food the next day!! Nothing beats the french toast on sourdough bread with crispy bacon on top! Sadly every time I would like to come in, the restaurant is completely full, and the line is super long. Never have he patience for it so always end up going somewhere else.
Judging by the line at the door, I was pretty confident Im in for a good brunch. The line moved quickly and we ordered fresh orange juice and coffee to start with. Both were good. For the mains we ordered the scrambled eggs with bacon and the 202 healthy breakfast. Excellent! For desert, we ordered the pear crumble with vanilla ice cream. Delicious! While the gastronomic experience was great, it definitely comes at a price. Total for the above order was 54, which for a brunch is too high in my opinion. That being said I would definitely recommend this place. The food is incredible, the price too steep. A rating of 4 is unfair given the quality, so Im going with a 4.5.Stay hungry my friends!
Went here for brunch and had some amazing eggs Benedict with prosciutto ham. Normally there is a line but we waited for 10/15 min maximum. Really nice to sit outside, they have heaters. The service was ok.
Very nice place to eat a healthy and tasty dish. We did wait about an hour to have a table but in the meantime we enjoyed nice cocktails at the bar. I highly recommend the pavlova for dessert it is exquisite
As soon as you step onto the pavements of Westbourne Grove, you might as well turn round if you think dining is going to be anything other than terribly pricey.Too pricey? Well, a first glance at the menu in the terribly elegant and chic 202 London is a bit of a shocker, not least the wild smoked salmon bagel at a whopping 17.95.202 London is clearly a destination place for brunch. We were the first to arrive at ten o’clock and fifteen minutes later the joint was buzzing with well heeled folk.Anyway, I had to go for my favourite, eggs Benedict and my pal who had flown in from Mexico was dying for a Full English. The first thing I noticed was the level of staffing. Clad in their white, long aprons, it was refreshing to note that the service was instant and the food and drinks came out five minutes after ordering. Two very handsome plates arrived, both adorned with what looked like the finest and best of ingredients. My eggs, smothered in a shiny, yellow coat of lovliness were placed on a handsome portion of Parma ham and digging into the eggs was like opening a present. A little river of yolk oozed out onto the plate and what a mouthful it was. Totally delicious. As for my pal, I loved the whole ‘baby cherry toms still on the vine’ thing which is becoming very popular. I loved the whole damned breakfast actually. It isn’t rocket science to use quality ingredients and both plates were bursting with them.A pot of builders and a cappuccino washed down this rather stunning breakfast and with service came to just over thirty six quid. It’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and that goes a long way to soften the blow of a big bill. Good job 202. mindingbellieswell.blogspot.com
This place is for all the people who get bore while shopping with their other half or sister or even parents. My partner took me for shopping once again and i was pretty much irritated because of that and then I saw this place I sat here had my burger which was pretty yummy and passed my time while she kept on shopping.
