Assaggi is tucked away in a side street somewhere between Bayswater and Notting Hill. It’s small and unassuming, with just a handful of tables at which the well-heeled local residents enjoy one of the rare authentic Italian dining experiences in London.This restaurant feels like it was airlifted out of a good neighbourhood in Rome and dropped as is into its current British setting. The dishes are extremely simple and extremely well made with quality ingredients, just as they should be. I will definitely be going back!
