It’s got great cooking books and great cooks getting you steaming plates of elicits meals. Can’t ask for more 🙂 The novelty of not having a fixed menu is brilliant. Get there early to grab a seat and have a relaxed conversation or read a book !
This is no typical restaurant. It is a lovely cosy little book store which tests out a different recipe each day. Each winner recipe goes in their very own series of books. It is clear that these chefs truly do it for the love of cooking! It was a delicious and great value meal. It started with a big creamy red lentil soup, then a lovely roasted lamb shoulder with tzatziki and finally a great selection of cakes. Every part of the meal was perfect, from the friendly waiting staff/chefs to the friendly atmosphere. And of course the selection of books it truly awe inspiring.
