Real greek food. I think it is necessary to mention that the food here is very good. I am from Greece and stay in London during my University degree, and I always visit this restaurant during term time for real Greek food. There is of course no substitute for the Greek lifestyle experience when you are in Greece, but the food here reminds me of my home and I enjoy eating here very much. Also the management are Greek and this adds to my good experiences as I speak with them like they are my friends, as I do in many restaurants in Greece.

Not Very Good Greek Food. The Sakanaki (fried Greek cheese) was tasty but a bit salty. The Tsakiki was passable. We ordered the Oktapodi (Octopus), but was told it was not ready (whatever that means) – so were offered Kalamari (squid in tomato and wine sauce). The squid tasted mushy, like it had been cooked much too long. Our mains, unfortunately, were no better. The Kleftiko (oven baked tender lamb in lemon, garlic and herbs) wasn’t what I expected. My wife ordered Garides (Mediterranean prawns in tomato, white wine sauce and feta) – beware, the prawns come in their shells with their heads still attached. That aside, the prawns were either old or previously frozen. We don’t plan on ever returning.

A great little place with friendly staff, quiet atmosphere and simple decor. The food was fantastic, the grande meze is a must. The beat foo I have had in a long time. Perfect.
