Awful place!. Can’t believe people think this place is worth of any stars at all. Service is slow and not very pleasant. The coffees we ordered came staggered. First person got their coffee 5 minutes before the other person did. Food also arriving staggered. When it arrived the French Toast was awful. It tasted bland. Eggs Royale were horrible. The Muffin tasted like it has been lightly toasted the previous evening. The Poached Eggs were the variety made in Silicon containers. The type you get in Mcdonalds. Not what you would expect at a place where a breakfast costs 8 a dish. Basically everything tasted awful. And it felt like this was a place which does not care about it’s customers. It seems they are happy to run on the weight of their nice location and supposedly reputed name. It did not feel like the whole experience was a one off. Just terrible experience overall.
Super hungry and in the area I walked into Mikes Cafe. Straight to the point: the food was nice, it wasn’t the best meal in my life but good enough for me to come back. The staff was fun enough as well and I actually had a decent lunch, so if you’re in the area and you need to fill the void, this is an interesting place to be.I also heard interesting things about the breakfast so I will try to come back for that.
This place often gets busy in the afternoon. They are famous for serving some delicious dishes having huge portions and very filing. The best time to go their is early morning when it is not too much filled with people and you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing meal at this place.
If you are looking for a clean and affordable place for breakfast then this is just the right place to be. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety that they were offering. The mushrooms were nicely cooked and the eggs were a treat in the morning. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff. They help you choose just the right thing for you. Go there soon!
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I have been here only once and now I am a huge fan of the establishment. the eggs Benedict that i had ordered were both sumptuous and delectable. The service is pot on and the staff is friendly. The prices are also reasonable. recommended.
I have been a loyal customer of this place because it helps me grab a quick snack whenever I am hungry. It is just a stone throw away from my place. I have usually ordered the Veggie Special and yesterday I was more than disappointed with what I ate. The has brown patty that has been added is not just oily but also bland. You will not want to eat it. I think the change in the menu is a good move by the management.
