We had a lovely supper there. The venue is quite cosy, staff is friendly, even the manager welcomed us when we made our way in. The wine we ordered was delicious, although it was the second cheapest in the menu.
Good food and interesting wineWent for lunch with my friend. It has been recommended but another friend of mine who went there and remained totally satisfied.Nice lunch, we chose three courses with matching 3 wines advised by the restaurant. We paid 30 each. They suggested wines to go with the food we order were absolutely outstanding. They were interesting and some varieties I had never tried. All dishes are Italian and tasty. Food was also very good with varied menu choices and generous servers. The place is really nice but tiny so you may risk finding it really busy.I recommend a try
If you are having a nice walk around Notting Hill area, you will certainly notice Negozio Classica from its distinctive elegance and lovely location. The Negozio can be defined in Italian as an Enoteca of wines selected from Tuscany and other Italian areas. The place is very professional and the owner very well selects the list of wines. The atmosphere is relaxing thanks to the low lights environment and, especially at night is a chic place where to bring a couple of friends or a date. In terms of prices, the average cost for two is 25 which are definitely worth the experience! Indeed, by being there for a couple of hours you do not feel in London anymore, but on vacation. In 2 words… QUIET and SUBLIME
Great spot for wine, al fresco even in autumn as they have heaters and the food is fresh and simple Italian. The steak is remarkably good and ideal to share (tagliata style). Very good selection of wines that change often. Can always have a taster before you commit.
Those who have read my other reviews will know I’m a big fan of a charcuterie board- well this place very much delivers on this front! Situated on the corner of Portobello Road and Westbourne Grove, you expect this place to be a bit uppity- but in fact it’s warm, small and welcoming. The food is delicious and they do an excellent Chianti, with appropriately fat, swill-able glasses.Eat, Love, Praise.
