Something about this place just didnt trigger a positive vibe. To start with, the menu was too difficult to understand and assumed a high degree of familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine as it did not explain what all these different meals were and what they comprised of. This alone was a major turn off. Not everyone could be expected to know what all these different Vietnamese words mean. We started off with a Vietnamese summer spring rolls which was good followed by a duck version which was even better. A had a ramen style noodle which was rather bland. I then tried the slow-cooked goat in greeny curry which was very good. All in all this was a very unmemorable restaurant with unmemorable food. Will not visit again. 25 a personFollow me on Instagram @londonarab_foodie

Exploring new flavors and new cuisines is one of our favorite things to do vietnamese was a perfect choice for such an adventure – Friendly staff Wide selection of food Some items we ordered were really delicious (slow cooked goat – highly recommended), some were mediocreMenu was really long and became difficult to understand – this might be because its our first vietnamese cuisine experienceWe asked for tofu summer rolls and were served duck summer rolls – this was quickly changed but it was after we had taken the first bite. This can be a problem for anyone following a restrictive diet Nothing memorable, wouldn’t mind going again but would rather try something different.

The 5 star rating is primarily for the service. We got here a little late at night and had to wait a bit for our table. About 15-20 minutes. In that time, we were seated, extra chairs pulled out to make space for us to sit down inside where it was warmer, we were brought glasses of water and complimentary prawn wafers. All of this was while waiting for our table. I have never had such good service while waiting in London. We ordered while waiting. They asked if we would like our drinks while we waited and brought us our Iced coffees too. As soon as we sat down, our starters appeared – duck summer rolls & beef wrapped in betel leaves. The summer rolls were lovely, but I was amazed at the beef in betel leaves. In India, betel leaves are eaten raw, wrapped around mouth freshening and digestive ingredients (paan). This was my first tme having them cooked and they gave a unique flavour to the beef. The Bun thit nuong – Chargrilled pork was full of flavour & a complete meal in itself. Their pho was also really good. The food was delicious, but as I said before it was the service that made this visit truly memorable.Since my first visit, I have ordered home delivery from them a couple of times. I’d highly recommend the squid salt chilli pepper and the Vietnamese sweet & sour spare ribs. on.fb.me
