Only had one cocktail here so can’t give anymore than a three. I just tried a Negroni which was STRONG!! The food menu sounded interesting so maybe next time I’m in town I’ve an excuse to go back. whatsarahate.blogspot.com

Outstanding gastro pub in a part of London full of great eateries. Upscale setting with an urban pub chic menu that runs the gamut from standard fish & chips through an excellent veal steak. Wait staff was perfect and the crowd lively. Worth the 3 minute walk from Holland Park Station

The Mitre is my absolute favourite place for a Sunday Roast, you can’t go wrong when the Yorkshire Pudding is the size of your head! It’s a great, vibrant pub, with outdoor seating that’s brilliant in the summertime.Loads of space for large groups, great for families too. Do yourself a favour, get there on a Sunday and order that roast! donutsanddetours.com

Food: BritishPrice: Around 60 for two peopleAtmosphere: Friendly, BusyReview: This restaurant is a place to note for a meal/drink outside during summer. Indeed this restaurant beneficiates of a nice terrace in front of Holland Park where you can enjoy a nice beer and then go inside and have dinner.Concerning the starter, the carpaccio is very nice to taste as well as the chicken. In terms of the mains, the curries or the lobster are really tasty. If you think that you can still go on, cheeses or desserts will make you happy to finish your meal. The restaurant is quite busy, especially during the summer period, I will recommend you to book it in advance if possible.

If I was to rate this pub on the Sunday roast alone it would get closer to 5 stars. The size of the Yorkshire pudding is unbelievable and what accompanies it is tasty too. Unfortunately I find the pub to be very noisy as it carries the sound and the restaurant can get very warm. Still, highly recommended on a Sunday

Great place for your roast. We supped at the mitre for our Sunday Roast and found the meals superb. Friendly waitstaff and thorough drinks menu made for a delightful time. The booths are spacious and it was more relaxing than the wobbly table and chairs often seen. This design was well thought through. It wasn’t too loud either. The dessert menu was excellent, though after the roast it was difficult to make room, it is worth it to do so.
