All day breakfast on a floating terrace, by the Regent’s canal and with view on the Olympic stadium… Not sure you need much more on a sunny day in this beautiful artistic area in East London..

What a gem of a place!Set in the most unconventional location of that of an art gallery, the restaurant offers one of the most stunning views of the Regent canal, perfect for a sunny day. Had the most amazing breakfast ever! What’s better, the cafe had quite a few vegetarian options along with their meat counterparts. Everything was home made, fresh and stunningly presented.Though the menu is concise, it won’t even be the last thing to complain about. The staff is extremely warm and cheerful. We ordered the counter vegetarian deluxe, French toast, berry smoothie and the orange juice. Additionally, we took the chocolate brownie for a take away. The French toast was the best I have ever had.The platter had everything cooked to perfection. The avocado, potatoes and the eggs were melt in the mouth smooth. Definitely going there every single time I am in London!

Amazing place, good food and a great coffee. Very friendly staff. Keep going!!! When we arrived, it was a little busy, but everything arrived after a few minutes. Really tasty and good portions. Thank you!!

Such a wicked place to work, chill and drink AMAZING COFFEE! Highly recommended. They also have a great selection of pies and fresh breakfast and lunch options. Sitting on the pontoon and watching the house boats go by is lush!

The Counter is located within Stour Space Art Gallery meaning that there is an ever changing array of art to peruse whilst you wait for you coffee however this is not the only added benefitof the Cafs location, it also sits on the banks of Regents Canal, in the shadow of what was the Olympic park. I have been visitingThe Counter for the last 4 years and though the area has changed itcontinuesto be the same chilled out eatery with greatquality food, an awesome selection of coffee from their in house roastery and craft beers from Crate Brewery. The chalk board menu fits in perfectly with the uncontentious surroundings; the caf serves an amazing brunch menu, sandwiches, salads, burgers, home made pies and cakes .The food may not seem like anything out of the ordinary but the fact that they only use natural and organic products that are locally sourced can definitely be tasted in these classic brunch dishes.I have tried a combination of all of the veggie options but still think that my two solid favourites are the Eggs Benedict on a muffin (without the ham) or the French Toast with berries and fried banana. Chased with either a soya latte or an IPA depending on how sensitive I am feeling.A warning: if you are starving, have a snack on the way as the food always takes a while to arrive, the orders are not rushed out of the kitchen and are all freshly prepared.Counter Caf has a truly welcoming community feel I would advise not to rush your visit, sit back, relax and enjoy this unique eatery before letting the normal speed and chaos of London seep its way back into your life. emmainks.com

Food was really good and the service was good. All dishes that we had were top notch ? definitely will go here again, only downside is that its far from central memorable-days.net
