About
Barley Sugar Kitchen is located at our Cornfield Terrace Deli in Eastbourne and it is here that we are able to showcase some of the dishes we've created using products from the adjoining deli. Much of our kitchen menu changes daily, but you can expect an array of wonderful seasonal British dishes, spectacular cheese, charcuterie and antipasti boards and lots of other daily surprises all using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. As well as lunch, you can also pop into Barley Sugar Kitchen for specialist teas, coffee or one of our mouth-watering cakes or sweet treats. We are also now opening on a Thursday, Friday & Saturday evening between 6pm & 8pm where we will be showcasing a new cheese, charcuterie & local seasonal dishes menu with a particular emphasis on local fish, accompanied by a stunning range of boutique wines from across the world. Perfect for a quick pre-theatre bite or a great place for dinner and drinks for those who crave good food and drinks.Details

Have had lunch on two occasions here recently. The best soup that we have ever eaten. Recommend the salmon chowder and wild mushroom and pearl barley soup. Great service and excellent value. Good choice of gluten free options. Well worth seeking out.

We were recommended by our hotel to eat here, it was a short distance from where we were staying. A superb meal of a grazing platter of cheeses and charcuterie with a crisp bottle of wine went down very weel indeed. Great place to eat.
Called in to a light lunch, very welcoming. Great menu with tasty cheeses, meats, breads, beautifully fresh food, well presented and very tasty. First class friendly service, great value too.
