With two distinctive public bars & a function room with its own bar, The Blue Boar is a place packed with character, quirk and charm. The Cellar bar is where you will find cocktails live music & events! With live music every single week with a massive variation each week you are sure to find a band you will fall in love with. The Main Bar is where you will find real ales & the classic old style pub, with handled glasses & an amazing array of military and diving artefacts throughout the main bar. The Blue Boar welcomes dogs on leads in the main bar area & Cellar. The Blue Boar is set in the heart of the old town of Poole, just a few minutes away from the historic quay side. Youll find us on Market Close, not far from the main High Street. When you visit The Blue Boar, watch out for things that go bump in the night.
