I planned to visit Anastasia’s today but it had a ‘To Let’ sign in the window and was closed. There was no sign to say that it was relocating so I assume that it is closed permanently.
The food, service and tea are just superb. Came here three times while on holiday in Torquay. The food was fresh and tasty; and the choice of tea’s was welcoming. Real tea! and some choice blends. A lovely couple and a lovely atmosphere.
This place is starting to feel like my second home! The borsch and new Russian stew are definitely the thing to eat at this time of year. Look forward to returning soon.
Ive never reviewed anything before but Visited the tea rooms for a friends birthday and all ten of us agreed it was fantastic! Great host who is passionate about the food and provides a great experience topped with great food!! Give it a try !!!
