This’s the Worst service that I experienced from a restaurant. I waited for my meal for one good hour and the staff was giving me excuses like the chicken is marinated and all sort of reasons. I don’t recommend it and will never pass by this restaurant let alone to dine out.
Very cheap and a good quantity of food. I try the lamb and chicken skewers, they were well seasoned and served with a large quantity of rice. The service was OK, I didn’t like how the bill was presented, only with the final price.
Long wait to get into this place, the usual Persian dishes are great while bread is excellent. Had the kabab koubideh which was also great. Service can be better though.
Its a nice and cosy Iranian food restaurant. The location is quite good and the food is pretty decent. They have some really nice minced meat kebabs to offer. Their Lamb shank is tender and made really well – worth a try. The only flipside is sometimes their service may tend to get slow on a busy day but the food can compensate for that.Whatever you order dont forget to have the spicy green chutney which is complimentary on the house!
Horrible Staff Very Rude. Salty food, small portions.
The food is good but the service at Colbeh is awful! We once went for dinner and we were told to wait outside – it was raining heavily outside so we tried to shelter as much as we could. Then finally a table became vacant and no one invited us in to the restaurant. So we went in and pointed the table out to them and enquirer as to whether we could sit there. They rudely replied that the table was for six people and that our group only had four people in it (despite the fact that there were no other diners outside waiting for a table!). We waited for ten more minutes and finally got a table – after waiting a further 15 mims we were not handed menus but the waiter came to take our order! When we informed him – he brought us menus and then began to lay out the cutlery for our table. He literally banged each fork, knife and spoon on the table making such a loud noise that other diners looked disturbed. We all vowed never again to go to colbeh! This place has the potential to be a nice, friendly family-run restaurant with good food at a reasonable price. The staff however are overly rude and not worth ruining your dinner. Avoid Colbeh if you would like to be treated with respect!
