Amazing evening spent with friends. Watched the football here and enjoyed some really good Moroccan food. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Make sure you order a lamb tagine and their oreo milkshakes are amazing !
Amazing evening spent here and enjoyed some really good Moroccan food. Staff were friendly especially Omar. Make sure you order a mix grill and they’re pornstar martini is to die for !!. Ended the evening watching the belly dancing show with some fresh baklwa and mint tea.
Writing a late review gives one a lot of time to ponder over what it should be.Went here with some good buddies for Shisha. I must admit, the shisha and the food were both amazing. Typical Moroccon, if that’s what you’re for.Place loses 2 point for the ambiance outdoors, which is not much of an ambiance I would say.Gains another half star for the belly dancer performing when I went. Gave a real feel of turkish restaurant and that’s exactly what I was looking for.Chicken Shwarma is something you might wanna try.
4 stars for overpriced but not-so-good shisha. I tend to go for shisha quite often and can get much better quality and almost half cheaper in other places. Their ones cost 20 (reasonable in London I assume). Despite that, all the rest was ok. I’ve had calamari for my starter (as usual) – portion was huge! No main meal needed afterwards, so that’s advantage. For my dessert I’ve had waffle with chocolate, strawberries and ice cream – loved it! In overall, Dar Marrakesh has a variety of choices for food and drinks – very cheap for the size provided. However, shisha could be improved.
Very bad quality shisha, I could personally make a better one. The seating is squashed, you will keep getting moved around to accommodate seating for more customers who arrive. The tables were dusty and full of ash from the shisha coals, all it takes is a wipe with a clean cloth but they can’t even manage that. The floor was sticky and now it feels like I’m walking on glue everywhere I go. There was a bunch cigarette butts in the ash tray which looks like they get cleared out once a month. The food had no taste and was bland. After all this, the customer service was horrendous, one member of staff spoke rudely and had no manners at all. He could not even understand English very well, I had to repeat myself about 7 times. Overall, I would never recommend this place to anyone and I would never come back here again. Disgusting and appalling.
Awful services! I booked a table so unwound get a table quicker. It tools them 20 minutes to understand me and to get serve. The waitress is not nice at all and at the Borden to be rude. Food is disgusting even though I only had dessert. We finally order a table at 23.30 but they told us they close at midnight. Even though they toldMe they will close at 1am on the phone. So I waisted 20 minutes! They told us the bar will close at 1 am but they decided to close at midnight too!
Brought some friends here as was looking for somewhere with live music and authentic Moroccan cuisine and I was not dissapointed. Came here on a weekend and it was really busy . Loved the food and the entertainment was really good. Got up and danced with the belly dancer to my friends amusement lol. Only problem was the food was bait slow but understand as it was completely full, but one of the mangers made up for it by giving us a round of shots on the house. A definite must visit and beautiful decor !
