I will definitely be visiting here again, I was so impressed. The location is fantastic, right across from Hyde park and you can sit over looking the park if you like. The service was 5* standard and very fast. Very impressed with the beautiful presentation of the dishes and everything tasted as amazing as it looked (or better!). The Island Grill is located in the Mayfair, Hyde Park area and it offer British, Intercontinental, Grill cuisine. The restaurant is situated in the Lancaster hotel and it offers a views to the famous Hyde Park.I would recommend to start with the Prawn Caesar Salad or the Leek and Sweet Potato Soup as a starters and Roast Salmon or Fish and Chips as main meals.The prices for main meal are 11-20 pounds per person.

Surprisingly one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had with whole anchovy fillets. The food at the place is actually pretty good. The menu has changed since I went last but I expect it remains good to date. That being said this place has a corporate vibe and about as much atmosphere as church. This is to be expected for a mid level hotel restaurant, but I wouldn’t go here if you are looking for anything special.
