While not having a meal, the choice to stop for coffee and croissants instead of at a chain was soon regretted.Plastic tasting croissant was re-heated in a microwave without shame, which there should have been plenty of, as even a room temperature one is perfectly fine if made with good ingredients. This one obviously was not. Seeing all their baked goods wraped in plastic should have been the first clue. But it seems this place thrives on unsuspecting newcomers and tourists.Tea was served without milk (in England??) and at no time was sugar offered either, which should be very, very basic.Such great potential in a great location wasted by management that just doesn’t care that the place could become a gem and easily triple their business with regulars and word-of-mouth.Trust the Zamato rating more than Google’s. That seems to be done by either friends of the owner or easily impressed tourists.
