Overpriced, humble, no-frills but well-cooked. Got a lamb biriyani takeaway and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the tender slow-cooked lamb. Cost 7.60 which is what I consider to be the price for a main at a sit-down eatery or casual restaurant. It’s punching above its weight given the amount of halal food available at a price point lower than it, but I daresay it is in a league of proper tasty Indian takeaway of its own. At 6 I would hit it and call it well-priced.Star Kebab and curries at Earl’s court is probably just as tasty (if not more so) and generous as it is at a lower price point.
