Sorry good food, excellent actually but service is better in the most remote Afghani village.Waiters of different nationalities but none of them speaks a word on English.Don’t know why they kept bringing bread that we didn’t order. When i said ”we will have the rest of the chicken and the bread for take away” it disappeared and never came back.Because in his brain he thought ”take away” in the sense of ”removing it for good”Need an interpreter to just say ”water”
Its an average middle eastern restaurant on Edgeware road. The food I ordered was pretty ok. I will not call it too good or too bad just ok. Arayes and Hummus were well made. Chicken curry tasted like a potato curry and flavoured rice was rather plain. Not eating here definitely but might try the sheesha.
Seriously, the BEST Middle Eastern food experience. The food was amazing. We started with neesk (lentil soup) which tasted delicious! We then had our chips and dips entre that consisted of spectacular yogurt mint dip, brilliant baba ganoush and good textured hummus. Our mains followed, I ordered the shawarma on rice dish and was so pleased with my meal. This was a true depiction of what shawarma should look like and taste like. I also ordered a carrot and apple juice, it was so refreshing! Lastly, we finished the meal off with traditional black tea in little Kurdish tea cups! So authentic. Dast xosh to the chief Honestly I can’t wait to come back in the future. If you live in London, definitely take advantage and try this place out!
Head here few times a year with my buddy that swears by the place. Only time i eat halal meat and its great. Minced lamb and chicken is nice, and they are not shy with the bread.
