This place is located in the main concourse of Paddington station. Small but vibrant. Has a wide range of beers on tap and friendly staff. Well priced and always a better option if you are waiting for a train. You can also hop in even if you dnt wanna take the train
Expensive drinks (5.25 for a pint is expensive even by London Railway pub standards!). Very little choice of drinks for somewhere calling itself ‘The Beer House’ – only had Amstell, Heinekin, Guiness and a couple of local pints in when I visited. Poor quality food (I had the Nachos which – below the top layer – were literally the crumbs from the bottom of the packet. The soured cream which came with the Nachos wouldn’t be enough to drown an ant. The staff were not overly friendly or helpful. Pretty poor place really. Poor food, poor drinks, poor value. Avoid! Go to the Mad Bishop and Bear upstairs instead!
