Great breakfast and a nice quality coffee. Lovely place to get out of Paddington if you want a quality brasserie. Nice cakes and good selection of dishes for brunch / lunch. Yum!
Lovely selection of breads and Olive oil as starters and an amazingly crispy version of a British fish and chips in newspaper, with mashed peas sauce and mayonnaise. Will definitely go back after meetings at the lounge
Food – 4.5/5 – We had the Indian buffet they have on from 15th Aug 2014. It was very authentic and delicious. The no. of choices on main courses and desserts were great!Ambiance – 4.5/5 – Hilton didn’t disappoint here too. It was quiet, with melodious bollywood tunes in the background.Service – N/A – It was a buffet.Value for money – 5/5 – In the current scheme, they are giving the buffet for 14 quids per person, which I believe is great for the kind of food and ambiance you get at Hilton. Usually such upscale fine dining restaurants charge around 25-30 per plate for this kind of food! All in all, it was a great lunch!
This is a pretty decent hotel restaurant. I was there last night with my husband after a day of traveling by air & train. Service was attentive & food was good. I had the steak beet salad which had a great piece of grilled steak on it, but I thought it could have used more beets. Hubby had the stuffed mushroom for an appetizer which he enjoyed. For dinner, I had the leg of lamb entree which was very tender & juicy. I was impressed how soft it was. Hubby had the rib steak which was of ample size. We had no room left for dessert. We had been here before when we stayed at the hotel & enjoyed the restaurant both times.
