The food arrived quickly once we managed to get our order taken i.e.I found the service poor. There was no staff to be seen when we entered,no staff to take our food order orto get our check after we were done eating.I found myself having to leave my table three times, only to look for the server.. who only served customers at the bar. Our food order was basic – Fish & Chips (good), Classic Burger (excellent). Felt alienated overall.

I don’t understand why this place is rated so low.I went there several times, and today it was simply illuminating…The food was stunning! I had steak and ale pie, which was served in a modern way…simpli loved it: fresh ingredients, the meat was melting in my mouth and the portion was glorious! Then I decided to go for dessrt, and I have chosen the fresh fruit crumble: oh my lord! One of the best crumbles in my entire life! I strongly recommend this place if you want to taste good british food.

It’s a nice place. It’s not fantastic. It has a good atmosphere and some nice background music. The food will not let you down if you’re looking for regular pub classics. It felt good to wind down with a pint and a burger.

A vere lively venue with an international crowd. They’ve got all your favourite pub classics and more.I started with the soup of the day which was very good. For the mains I tried to switch it up so instead of battered cod and chips I decided to go for the grilled fish with mash. Big mistake, the portions were minuscule and even in term of quality it was average.Overall, it was still an enjoyable experience because of the overall atmosphere at the venue. Great place to meet up with friends and meet new people.
