We wanted to order food and went three times to the bar to order, they were willing to serve us beer but not food. First time in the bar and we already have a table. Bartender: you cannot order now, you have to wait one hour because we have many guests waiting for food in the dining room. I go with a beer in my hand to my friends and ask if they want to wait. We agree to wait. We see an elderly couple getting food in the bar. I go a second to the bar to order, explain that others in the bar get food. Same response. I go back to my table to finish our beers before we leave. Now we see guests at three tables in the bar who arrived after us get food (one family with children, two elderly couples). We ask a waitress if we can order. First she says we have to wait an hour. We explain that people arriving after us are getting food and she tells us to go the bar. I go a third time to the bar, say we want to order and that we can wait. Now the bartender ask the manager before he can take our order, the manager comes and say we cannot order food because there are many waiting . I explain that others are getting food who arrived after us and ask one more time if we can order and that we can wait. Manager answers that they cannot take any orders. I ask: so you don’t want us to order? The manager plays stupid and says: I dont know what you are talking about. For me it is clear that we, four business professionals, were expected only to drink beer and not eat, more profit for the bar. Very bad attitude. If you are travelling with children it appears as you can get food, please note that all others are encouraged only to drink beer. I would not go there with my children.

Siyah bira imiyorlar pek. Biraya ale veya lager diyorlar beer demek yerine. Drst olmak gerekirse biradan anlyorlar ama biraz pahal. 5-6 pound civar. Trk lirasna ou ey pahal geliyor ama buras genel olarak da biraz tuzlu. Ama ieride geirdiiniz zaman gzel geiyor. Porsiyonlarn boyutu biraz yetersiz mesela Mac n Cheese. Lezzetli nk sanrm biraz bira da katmlar peynir sosuna, ama biraz fazla akkan ve az. Doyurmaz yani. Beer foods iinde Deli Bites ve Buffalo Chicken syledik. Soslar ve kzartma herey gzel ancak Trkiye’deki bira tabaklarna alnca az geliyor tabii. Genel olarak sevdim, a gitseydim Big Fish n Chips ini yerdim, gzel grnyordu. Buray ve ngiltere’ye giderseniz birka bar daha deneyimlemenizi neririm, pub kltrleri gzel.

I will come back to try their decanted steak pie!
Dubiously authentic English pub food with very rude Italian wait staff. Waitress brought the wrong order to our table, then tried to blame me, then GAVE HERSELF A TIP. Remarkable. Sawyers is close to many hotels in Paddington and is therefore very touristy.
