I have frequented a lot of Italian restaurants, and this place has been one of my worst experiences so far in Italian culinary. The service is terrible, almost bordering on rude. The used plates were sitting for about a half hour after we had finished. The coffee was served without sugar, and the staff was unhelpful when requested for something. In addition, the place levies a service charge- it would have been acceptable if the service was good, but the service here was deplorable. The wait-staff was rude and inattentive, and service was slow. We left the place disappointed, and don’t plan on returning soon.
Because we visited the place on an early Wednesday evening, it was quite empty when we arrived but the staff was very nice and friendly. I ordered seas food pasta priced at ~9 pounds which completely justified that price and I felt it was much better compared with the price at which it was offered. Going by it’s name, I thought the pasta would have a good portion of seafood, mainly prawns and mussels, but it did not. This place is a steal!
Good classic wholesome italian food, good value for everyone. Serves a wide spectrum of Italian food from pasta dishes. Pizzas to poultry and meats. Service I will admit on occasions can be hit and miss. This restaurant has been around for years, and there is a reason why it has survived for so long. Food is fresh, cooked well and charged at a reasonable price. Wine? Well, I dont come here for the wine. A good pasta dish over a catch up with a girlfriend when im back in London.
Great atmosphere and very nice staff. Tasty food and wines.
Good food, amazing calzone, good service
Awful Rude Customer Service. Customer service appalling. Totally incompentate in taking a booking. Would not recommend to any one. Booked a table 2 weeks in advance for my Daughter’s 16th Birthday for 30th Jan at 6.30, asked if they needed a deposit to ring me back which they didn’t, telephoned a week later and they asked me to move the booking forward to 6 as they had another table booked for 7.30 but would make sure my daughter had 6-8pm.Daughter arrived the table was not set up and they were asked by the waitress to leave by 7.30pm. The other people were waiting for their table!Manager phoned me on the Sunday and asked if we were booked in tonight I said no as they came yesterday. I told him I was not very happy with the service they provided to my Daughter making her leave early whereupon he called her a liar. I asked who had made a double booking? This shows incompetency and why would his staff admit to asking my Daughter to leave earlier than her table had been booked. He was very rude and aggressive so I put the phone down. 10 mins later he phoned again and called my daughter and her 11 friends liars. Do not go to this restaurant the manager is appaling and the staff are deceitful and very very rude! Horrid place, awful staff.
Fantastic family run Italian resturant at very reasonable prices. The pizzas are marvellous with a great selection of Italian desserts and ice creams. If you’re in Palmers Green then well worth the visit!
