Overpriced, indifferent quality, dirty and rude, crap service. The smell coming from the poky looking kitchen smelled like an abattoir and the waitress look really ill. Not coming back. Who the Hell wrote those other revues – the cook’s mum?
Steep stair climb – not worth the effort.. Two flights of steep narrow stairs and a que of ladies looking awkward as they wait for the toilet. The cafe itself looks like a hippy had a try but gave up half way. This is not a friendly place and it is confusing. Only one vegetarian main option. The place looks dirty and I’m not sure who is staff and who are customers. A vague waitress takes my order and then I go to the cafe room – ok in a way. After half an hour my coffee arrives (weak – not good enough). I’m surrounded my laptop users pretending to write a novel. This isn’t very nice. I’d leave sooner, but I need to get the strength up to navigate those stairs again. When I’m outside, I look for somewhere to sit in civilized surroundings and have a good cup of coffee.
A lovely not very large cafe on the top floor with a garden. Really nice music and cosy atmosphere and quite enough range of drinks and foods. This is one of the best places in my opinion to relax and chill out!
A lovely little cafe, hidden away from the hubbub of nearby upper street. Food was wholesome and had a wonderful home cooked feel. Service was a tad relaxed, but fit with the atmosphere of the place. Great for a lazy weekend meal.
