Lovely little place on the corner of upper street.Small group of six meeting up for a food show we were thinkingWarm welcome at the front desk by a scruffy albeit friendly gentleman who promptly sat us down to get startedStandard menu available or a party menu which incorporates most of the signature Japanese delights! The menu was thoroughly explained by our host, who also explained all the beef, chicken and lamb we certified Halaal. We opted for the party menu where a choice of soup is offered, an array of starters which include dumplings and sushi and a pick of two mains, to be served by the chef right in front of us on the hot table. Drinks menu offers all your usual alcoholic tipples alongside juices and mocktails for the dry bar drinkers. Starters were served in good time with the waiting staff being attentive and approachableMain course was the beginning of the show for us. Our chef introduced himself and started with a big flame across the table to set the mood. Lovely trickery and involving us all the meanwhileMains were served nice and hot and although two dishes were to be chosen, which sounds a lot, portions were small and good enough for each person to enjoy. The chicken was tasty and moist and the beef choice was cooked to our liking but a bit too salty with the excess soy and sesame oil and sauce. All mains were served with a choice of egg fried rice or jasmine rice. Mocktails were to a good standard and quite tasty. Lovely little place, would love to visit again with another group. A buffet is available for smaller groups or couples. Memorable night with decent food.

This place does great teppanyaki. Theatrical style, old school. We normally get Chicken beef and prawn but the best IMHO is the prawn, the prawns are big and juicy. good service as well.

Sen Nin in Islington is a great teppanyaki restaurant. We had so much fun with the chef. He was juggling with eggs, tossing knives and all in the air. Food is good and very reasonable for a Japanese restaurant. The tiger prawns were my favourite and the crispy squid as starters. We tried the house sake and some Japanese Cocktails. Great decor, good parking and very good food. Keep up the good work and we cant wait to visit their second restaurant in Camden.

Just ok. Friendly attentive staff. Reasonable value at 50 percent off, however at full price definitely overpriced. Worst Tom yum I have ever eaten, tasted very strongly of fish sauce with little spice. The rest of the food was OK. Probably wouldn’t go again as there are so many great alternatives nearby.

FANTASTIC. We recently visited SEN-NIN restaurant and it was really good. The staff were fantastic , our chef was funny and made lots of noise which turned it into a party atmosphere. The food was really good and the Teppanyaki experience was wonderful.I would definated recommend this and also their branch in Campden.
