I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of fish & chips but Pier 1 seems to have become a regular haunt for our family. Even better because the traditional fish and chips is only a part of their menu. If, like me, you’re not a fan of the fried & battered variety, Pier 1 has plenty of delicious treats for you. The bruschette is a particular favourite (pictured) and lobster (when available) is too good not to order. The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food is delicious and the restaurant is always clean and well presented. A long way detached from the greasy spoon establishments that are synonymous with the British chippy.
