I have visited Cafe Dolce Vita several times and each time is a delight. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient which is what you want from your local high street.I had the chicken sandwich which was fresh, tasty and great presentation. The Latte was also superb, and you can tell they have really taken time to select their coffee carefully. There is a child friendly area at the back which you could tell the mum’s loved, but me and my friends were sitting in the comfy sofa area at the front – the layout is great as it pleases those with and without kids!Would highly recommend for those looking for a coffee catch up with friends, a place to bring the kids, or just to sample some brilliant coffee, cake and food.
Fab family run coffee shop, great for all of your family! Lovely coffee, menu and staff. Indulge in the lovely cakes whilst the kids enjoy the well equipped play area.
In my experience anywhere that can independently hold my 4 yr olds attention for more than 10 mins invariably means cheap and nasty, sugar filled food – either ingested or stood upon! UNTILthe arrival of Dolce Vita. Not only does it have a clean, well equipped children’s entertainment area providing parents with invaluable time out, it also provides adults with comfy sofas, magazines, stylish surroundings, healthy food and a friendly, sympathetic (the owners are parents too) smile. On my last visit I had a gorgeous salmon salad and whiled away an hour as my child happily played – only interrupted by requests for fabulous cakes and organic children’s treats. Its clear that this cafe was designed by, and is staffed by, parents who value their customers experience as paramount. We’ve just booked our daughters birthday party there!Julie
What a fabulous stylish cafe… with great tea, coffee, cake (to die for!) and an extensive menu catering for adults and children alike. The friendly and helpful staff provide a professional service (including having your order brought to your table….especially good as a mother if you’ve got your hands full!) and Cafe Dolce Vita places a special focus on those with babies, toddlers and young children with a dedicated play area (full of plenty of toys to keep babies and young children entertained) allowing mums to chat, relax and enjoy a break whilst being able to keep a close eye on the little ones. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
My daughter was incapable of allowing me to have a cup of coffee, or tea without it being cold, until I found cafe dolce vita! The perfect genuinely family friendly cafe who cater for everyone in the family. Not only do I get peace whilst she eats her food but she then happily entertains herself in the play area which means Double the amount of me time!! They have cleverly developed a gorgeous menu of cakes and breakfast/lunch options for both kiddies and adults. My daughter enjoys it so much that whilst I am at work she insists that her grandparents take her to which they have no argument as they enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere so much they also go on their own to enjoy a breakfast treat!! If anyone else is like me and craves a hot cup of tea or coffee, then you should definitely look in, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!
This cafe is an absolute godsend. Lovely decor, brilliant menu and fantastic tasting coffee. The play area means the kids are happy (so that’s me happy) and I can rest for once! if you don’t have kids there is plenty of tables away from the toys for sanctuary. Enjoy!
If you do one new thing this week then please STOP and take a break at Dolce Vita. The fabulous family run cafe in Petts Wood with a difference. It is absolutely one of my favourite haunts as a busy mum. Here I can relax, enjoy a cup of good quality coffee, grab a bite to eat or a healthy snack or totally indulge myself with a slice of freshly made cake. All the while knowing my twins are playing safely and securely in a clean and stimulating play area designed especially for them. I actually get to enjoy my time here and even manage to have a conversation or two!!! Bliss 🙂 .Well done Jo and the team. Couldn’t do without you!!!!
