I’ve just had a wonderful lunch here. Im a Pimlico local resident (7 years) and I can highly recommend this restaurant.I have read the other reviews and am surprised to read the comments left and do not think they truly represent this restaurant in any way! Seriously!I ordered the Serrano Ham , and an Artichoke salad, also had two glasses (yes two!- It was that good), of the most delicious red wine (fresh- even by the glass), wish I’d ordered a bottle but was on my own! Also followed by a coffee and fizzy water. The service was great, staff were attentive and friendly and food well presented. I simply cannot understand the other reviews being negative and can only assume they were left by the local competing restaurants! This venue is ideally located in the heart of Pimlico with the venue facing the direct afternoon sunshine, was so lovely and relaxing to have the sun on my face whilst sipping the wine and nibbling on the delicious ham! Rare in Pimlico to get the direct sun at a venue, take note Sun-Worshippers!I pass this place very day with my dog and will be spending more time here, it’s well worth supporting and I look forward to returning with my Spanish friends here in London. Staff always lovely and looking forward to my next visit, Viva Espagne! Enjoy
Dear Spanish food lovers,DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RISK YOUR LIFE.
Took a cortado – mediocre coffee, but nice setting. The biscuit seemed fresh and was nice tasting. The shop also has a tapas menu but at 0900 I don’t think it was the right time to be indulging in Spanish meats! 😉 would like to be back to try tapas
Terrible place. We went there a few times as a friend really like it, and we will avoid it as much as possible! The food is not good, overpriced (4.5 for thesmallest Spanish omelette I have ever seen) and microwaved. There is never anyone in there, and the service is non existent. There are so many places much nicer in this area, don’t bother.
Terrible. All food either tinned or microwaved. Bad service. Rude and arrogant manager, when we said we didn’t like and just wanted to go, wouldn’t let us take our wine with us.
Worst meal in London. This was the worst restaurant I have been to in London. I have never been treated so rudely as we were by the owner, at 10:00pm he demanded we pay up and get out and opened both the doors of the restaurant so hammer his point home. As we were paying up he informed my friends that he had closed the toilets so they could not go to the loo at the end of our meal. The menu was overpriced – about a fiver for two slices of tortilla which we saw them microwave out of packet before they served it to us. They refused to even warm up the slightly frozen pitta bread that they served for starter. It was absolutely awful, do not go here.
