Very dry and hard pieces of chicken and lamb. The meat pieces have not been marinated well and the inside is dry and bland in taste. Would not recommend for tandoori items. However, the nan was very good. Possibly will try other options.

We went to Pimlico Tandoori after reading few of the reviews and also for the fact that it was quite close to were we stayed. We got there around 8 pm and saw that the restaurant was sparsely crowded, we got a table and there is where the good service ended. The Waiter handed us the menu and came within a min to ask for the order, he did not suggest anything nor was he really interested to serve, after ordering onion pakoda and chicken tikka as starters and mix veg masala and chicken vindaloo with garlic naan as the main course we were quite apprehensive as to the quality of the food considering that the restaurant was mainly praised for it friendly staff and warm service which was not extended to us. Our apprehension turned true when we tasted the chicken tikka which was rubbery at the best, onion pakoda was alright but that itself is a negative as you have to try real hard to screw up that simple a recipe. Mix veg masala and chicken vindaloo was tagged as hot and very hot on the menu and it was just that without the flavors, I think the chef just added extra chill powder and ensured that his mediocre efforts are hidden behind the chillis. I am sorry to write such a harsh review but at the end if a restaurant says its a good one and takes your money without serving quality then I won’t be polite.

Although a small place, with not so great interior, the one thing I liked about this place was the courtesy of the staff. They might go out of their way, to make you comfortable. Food quality and taste was good.

Really nice Indian food. Probably the best in Pimlico. I am saying this because we tried a few Indian restaurants in Pimlico. Staff is very courteous and warm.

Nice decor, fantastic food, and great prices. We tried and enjoyed the mixed kebob, lamb curry, and another lamb dish I whose name I can’t recall. We’ll be back!

Great food. While the dining space was a bit cozy, the food and service were wonderful! The waiters were very attentive and patient with our questions and dietary concerns, Save room for the scrumptious coconut sherbet! Easy to reach from the Pimlico tube station.

Excellent Indian food in a cozy, comfortable space. We had a delicious lunch with great service
