Good Priced meal with friendly welcoming staff!!!We enjoyed a great tasting meal in a warm and friendly environment. A busy, reasonably priced, restaurant. The restaurant is very nice and you won’t regret eating here if you stay in Pimlico or somewhere near.
Busy with locals – always a good sign. I’ve eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it. It’s nice inside, there’s a pleasant buzz about the place as the noise from other tables is bounced round but you don’t have to shout. The food is good and has flavour, there are a few different things on the menu which I’ll pluck up the courage to try, and the staff are friendly. I got chatting to the owner last week and, before I knew that’s who he was I told him I was having a good evening etc. etc. As I said in the title, it’s busy with locals which is a good sign and my fiance, who has lived in the area for years, recently recommended it to a tourist who asked for suggestions. I think people come on here to criticize. It’s easy to do that, sometimes it’s worth taking the time to say thank you. I’ll be going back soon.
You couldn’t pay me enough to return. Overall: Terrible experience. Service non-existant. Food sub-par. As I often walk by the play, I decided to take advantage of the lovely day and try a meal on their patio. Big mistake. I had to remind the wait staff twice (in 45 mins) to bring us menus and take our drink order. The food was bland and not worth the wait. It was a very disappointing experience and with such lovely italian food options in the area (Gastronomica, pizza express even!) I don’t need to make the mistake again.
Terrible Service. Food was probably of a reasonable standard but it was difficult to judge as the staff were so amazingly rude. Made us feel incredibly unwelcome throughout the meal. I wonder if the staff were having a competition as to who could be the most discourteous.
Not too bad, but the ice cream quality let them down big time…
Great local Italian!. I have just moved to Pimlico and have decided to try out local restaurants. I was glad to try this Italian in the heart of Pimlico, and very close to Victoria as well. The restaurant is quite intimate and had a pleasant atmosphere. My parma ham pasta was great as was our dessert. The menu looked very tasty overall so I’ll definitely pop into my local again to try another delicious UNo dish!
Fantastico!. Brilliant. We went for a dinner last weekend with my boyfriend. Loved loved loved the marinated prawns and baby squid with shallots, chilly, rocket and cherry tomatoes and the adorable cheese cake with berry compote made my knees wobble. It was the most perfect piece of cake, or any dessert for that matter, that I’ve ever had. Honestly. Amazing. My boyfriend who knows a lot more about wine than I do was delighted with the wine we had with our food and he seemed to be as much in love with his main, roasted pork belly, as I was with my cheesecake. I really liked the relaxed and warm atmosphere and the place looked nice with the Christmas decorations as well. I was very pleased with the service as well; the staff was professional and friendly.
