About
We are a village pub just outside Taunton on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, with the countryside at its core. We are proud to produce a lot of our own ingredients on land nearby. Our livestock currently includes Gloucester Old Spot pigs, French Black Copper Maran hens and Suffolk sheep. We have planted an orchard, fruit bushes and a vegetable patch, plus we have beehives too. When we haven't raised it or grown it, our produce is locally sourced where possible. Our menu reflects the seasons with provenance at its heart.
