Pickedup few aloo parathas and lacha parathas and realised that the frozen parathas we get from tescos/asda were much better than these. These parathas were no good.If you are trying to order parathas from here, think twice!

I’ve heard locals with a bit of knowledge of the sub-continent describe Punjabi Dhaba as the type of unpretentious place you might find in a street market or by the side of a dirt track in India. It’s maybe as close to Indian street food as you find in the south east of London. The food is cheap, quick and authentic. A small cafe off Plumstead High Street it has enough seating for about 15 people and a glass counter displaying various ready to serve takeaway meals. They have a wider menu which they will cook you up from scratch quite a lot as well. They do very good naans from their clay oven and have a number of sides you don’t often see, like crispy battered peppers and fried potato cakes. They also do very good bhajis and the best spicy Tandoori chicken wings. Just don’t expect too much decor-wise, it is rough and ready.
