This is an excellent Indian restaurant that we eat at several times a year. The quality of the food/cooking is good, the servings generous and the prices reasonable. It has a scenic location directly across from leafy Plumstead Common and even a bizarre Elvis night once a month that has become a bit of a local institution. The interior is slightly dated, but staff are good natured and the maitre d’ is always a model of attentiveness, who never forgets to give my daughter a chocolate when we go there. The chefs specials are always worth a look and they do a mean jalfrezi.
