The prices here are very reasonable for the location which is full of aloof bigots who have more money than sense. I had a falafel wrap which is vegan, don’t tell the #vegansociety as they will wet their pants with excitement and think is is marvelous and do a multi media, multi platform news expos about it. I had a falafel from a middle eastern shop a couple of days before which was crap so to get a decent o e was good. I only paid 2.80 so what do you expect. Well worth the dosh and will be back.

Are you a gym goer and crave the protein rich foods with good mix of good carbs and fat?Jerk chicken and rice with veg boom! Its really tasty and it also has allot of other hot meals for the fatter peopleI agree with a particular comment on review below regarding staff. They are fairly abrupt but to be fair it is rush hour and chances are they don’t want to see your mug any longer than necessary. Currently the guy who shouts out your chosen meal for collection looks like he is also the shop electrician and cleaner and manager and cook. Very very very fast ….. At taking your payment. I get something often here as it seems a clean eat. For my guns to grow.Big guns

I had the most horrible experience at Bene Bene in Canary Wharf. I went with a work colleague to get lunch here. She chose a Halloumi salad and I went for the chicken curry biryani. When we started eating back at the office she realised all the salad leaves in her dish were brown at the edges and the meal was at least a couple of days old. After 2 bites, she chose to return to the shop and emand a refund. When she showed the person at the till her meal, he just immediately said in a hushed tone that he would give her a refund and she could pick any thing free of charge in addition. My chicken biryani seemed ok at first glance and I finished it, within 15 minutes I was experiencing a severe gastric reflux which was highly unusual. By evening my throat was inflammed, and for the past 2 days I have been down with fever and a bout of food poisoning. Numerous trips to the loo, and severe weakness, all due to one trip to a crappy place. I should have been more alert like my colleague and returned the meal.First trip to Bene Bene and certainly last one as well

I bought a mackerel salad today to have in my office and when I opened the box, it literally smelled like the rubbish bin full of spoilt food. This is the worst product I’ve ever bought, I should have been better off eating from the bin then I didn’t have to pay for it! The beans were really yucky, slimy and smelly – very obviously decaying. How can they sell this to customers? I’m definite I would get proper food poisoning if I continued eating that salad. Now I have to rush there and get my money back – what a lovely day for me -hungry and feeling robbed!

Is the worse place to eat in Canary Wharf i work and live in the area, the service is just sh**t starting from the manager in charge, food is less than average but again the service is rubbish and for the prices they have i rather to go to Starbucks or to Birleys, anywhere but to that filthy and rude place…
