NO Stars. This restaurant does not follow the LAW and has NO REGARD for the LAW. They refuse to serve a young woman who has a guide dog for a serious medical condition and all legal rights to have her clean and perfectly behaved dog with her at all times. It is agains the law for them to refuse. Yet they stated they don’t care about the law. What other parts of the law do they not care about? Do they wash their hands before they prepare food? Do they even wash or disinfect their dishes or tables? Do they serve Chicken when it’s called Chicken on the menu or are they serving cat? Obviously they don’t care about rules or human rights or just plain doing the right and kind thing. I hope this place is shut down!
Mr & Mrs Roberts. Omg this is the best india restaurant around the wirral we have been going there for over 40 years , fantastic service, friendly staff , family run . Food is amazing , you need to come and try for yourself, they have a licence for drinks but now you can bring in your own , which is cheaper, we live just up the from them , even there portions are the same as if you were sitting in the restaurant, not like many other restaurants we have tried over the years , we have just ordered are meal , can’t wait till it arrives , TRy them for yourself . Down size I wish they had a loyaly card
Very nice. Went on Saturday with 4 others. All of the food was well prepared, well presented and delicious. The service was also very firendly and efficient and for 80 for the lot (most had 3 courses) it was a real bargain. If you havent been and you like a good curry, you should check it out.
MSR. Tried a takeaway from here a couple of years ago and was underwhelmed, which is why it took me so long to go back but i’m pleased i did. Went along on a Thursday night and took advantage of the 7.95 Sun-Thu offer which included poppadoms, any starter, and any curry + rice or naan. Everything was of a high standard and it was a good deal for a sit down meal. Curry (opted for the Dhansak) was authentic. tasty and had clearly been made from scratch – which is a rare thing in Indian restaurants nowadays imo. Naan was also freshly made and particularly good. Cobra on tap; What more could you want? I’d give Tandoori Mahal 5 stars!
For me this is the best of the many Indian restaurants in Wallasey, at least in terms of the quality of the food. Perhaps you’ll get more flamboyant service and entertainment elsewhere but for delicious, authentic Indian food this is the place.
