Keeping it short and sweet – food is amazing, peaceful environment, not too busy (surprisingly, because the food is great) reasonably priced, good portions and friendly staff, no hassle, just good food and good vibes. This is just the mains I’m going on about – didn’t have time to sample the desserts but I’m going back – doesn’t make sense not to. Ps. I recommend the maple glazed chicken with ratatouille and the Mac and cheese! Loved it – as if that’s not obvious. (I took a video of my food, no pictures unfortunately :()
Located just behind Wembley Arena and the outlet centre is the desert spot Sugar Mill. The venue has a stylish interior that is similar to the styling and decor of a modern hotel lobby. There are regular tabled seating or nice big sofas. The menu has a wide range of deserts and food options. I came here as i remember my friend over at @halalgems mentioning that they do slider burgers. So thats what i went for.I had a grilled chicken, lamb and beef mini burger. I wasnt that impressed. It didnt feel like quality. First the bread used for the bun just didnt work, it was on the smaller side and the texture was too hard. The chicken was best slider of the lot, it had good flavours but the rest were poor. I didnt take any enjoyment from eating the beef or lamb. It felt like a canopy than a slider burger lacking any juiciness or identifiable flavours. Also hand a moroccan lamb burger, which also wasnt impressive. I had the lamb burger from my local favorite Five Lads a few days before for less than 5 which much better compared to this. Moroccan burger was 10.95Sliders cost 12.95 with one side, the side I picked was dirty fires which were absolutely brilliant. On par with the masala Chips from saffron kitchen.Slider burgers are NOT available on event days. halalfoodguy.co.uk
All good nothing special – just quality standard food – great for peace and quite
A great surprise. We went there prior to a gig at Wembley Arena. Slightly put off by the dessert focus (we wanted a full meal), but they delivered a fantastic steak. Beautifully cooked and well presented. The desserts (sticky toffee and bread and butter) were, as you would expect given the name, also fantastic. All in all, a great experience and thoroughly recommend it.
Fantastic food and fantastic concept. Stopped in here during the evening and I absolutely loved it. From the ceiling-to-floor windows and classy, yet modern decor, to the fact you can watch the chefs working their magic (from outside), to the incredible range of desserts, it was a really great experience. We tried a couple of things off the menu and were not disappointed with our choices. Not only did they taste amazing (we had a raspberry mille-feuille with homemade raspberry sorbet, and a chocolate torte with salted caramel ice-cream), but they were presented with the kind of flair and attention to detail that you’d more commonly associate with a michelin-starred restaurant. It was just a shame that we could not try everything, but we will definitely be going back to sample more. Thanks Sugar Mill!
Sugar Mill Deserts review. I came to Sugar Mill with my family, I had a sandwich, a drink, a cheese cake and some waffles and they were delicious. The waffles were amazing, they had some chocolate drizzled over with some scrumptious banana slices, the strawbery ones had a sort of syrup on them with halves of fresh sweet tasting strawberies. We decided the food tastes so good that we orderd some cupcakes for my cousin’s birthday party. Literally everyone LOVED them. There were so many flavours of cupcakes to choose at first so it was too hard to choose what to have for her birthday but in the end we chose a range of different flavoured cupcakes.I really enjoyed my food at Sugar Mill and reccomend it.
Dessert heaven. I love the afternoon teas here, served on beautiful stands with so many amazing and unique items. Sandwiches tasted so good – bread was so fresh like it had just come out of the oven. Had the cheesecakes which were the best I have ever had. The venue is nicely done – chic but not pretentious. Staff were friendly and attentive without being in your face the whole time. Can’t wait to come back and try the other stuff on the menu.Oh and on the way out – even watched their chefs cooking in the kitchen. Their kitchen is all open for viewing to public – such a nice idea. One of the chefs was rolling what looked like dough for bread – which explains the fresh sandwiches and the other chef was filling a large tray of colourful macaroons.Enjoyed a five star experience at everyday prices . Definitely coming back. Shame that not many people know this place yet!!
