Whether England are playing (Women’s team included now) or a concert of some sort, Wembley Stadium has always got something going on. The Torch is a local pub that is located about 5 minutes from the closest tube and is always my number one stop before I visit the stadium.This is a great meet up point for you and friends to have a pint before you move on to the stadium. The prices on game night are slightly high but what can you expect from the closest pub to the stadium? I’d rather pay for a pint here than when I am actually in the stadium. This place is always packed on game night and actually provides a great warm-up atmosphere for the stadium. Despite the wait for a drink, there are plenty of seating available inside and outside. Great for a summer’s day.I know a lot of my focus has been on game/event night at Wembley Stadium mainly because that’s the only time I have visited. I would recommend this if you are in the Wembley area and in need of a quick stop at a local watering hole.
