We are a unique bookshop/coffee shop run by Southend Mencap. We sell secondhand books/DVDs/CDs/Vinyl/Computer games in a relaxed welcoming environment. You can also enjoy freshly ground coffee, tea and homemade cakes in house or to takeaway. Our shop is staffed by volunteers and we provide training and work experience opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. All proceeds raised go directly to Southend Mencap and enable us to continue to provide vital services to children and adults with learning disabilities in and around Southend-on-Sea.
