Having walked from Keld to Reeth I had been craving comfort food. It doesn’t get much better than giant Yorkshire pudding with sausage, mash and peas all drowning in gravy! Washed down with a very nice Malbec. Waiters were both very friendly.

Stopped here after a walk in Reeth for some lunch. Lovely homemade steak and ale pie with great short crust pastry and lots of steak! Very filling and tasty. Friendly staff. Nice coffee.
Ideal spot on the square of the village of ReethWas upgraded to a great big room, fantasticComfortable, clean , what more could I ask forLovely breakfast , thank you
So good we ate here twice on our 3 day break. Old pub with a lovely feel, no music or TV’s just people enjoying each others company, some great food and a good pint. Very doggy friendly too.
