Birthday Brilliance. Had an AWFUL experience at the Marquis of Ormonde, so we walked out and went to The Hurt Arms instead. I love it there. I had my mushroom and asparagus risotto with parmesan and truffle oil and a mint chocolate cheese cake with mint infused cream to finish.As always, the atmosphere did not disappoint, the staff (Although busy) were helpful, attentive and friendly and the food was top notch.The prices are average considering the type of establishment it is and the location. It’s not super fancy food, but it’s cooked to a very good standard regardless. So don’t go in with an expectation of dining on caviar and gold leaf covered truffles. Instead, go in with a view of eating warm, hearty food with a little hint of class that is at a reasonable price for the area.I highly recommend the Boston Beef to if you get the chance to try it. It’s divine!
