Since its inception in 1986, Taj Tandoori has been providing locals, students and visitors of the Cherry Hinton road area of Cambridge, with the exotic culinary delights that can only be found from the rich heritage of the Indian sub continent. Our goal is to put our customer first whether it is dining in at the restaurant, ordering a takeout meal or catering for that ever special event. Our menu offers a wide range of both traditional and contemporary dishes influenced by the many different regions of South Asia in striking yet informal surroundings. The intense flavours and pungent aromas that come from our dishes are created from the use of only the freshest of ingredients. With an abundant choice of foods ranging from street food favourites, tandoori grills and many regional curries, the only problem you will encounter is what to choose! We are one of the very few if not only restaurant in Cambridge that has a BYO alcohol policy. This gives you the freedom to choose which wine or beer to bring to your meal and also saves you from paying high restaurant prices for your alcohol! We also provide for in-house parties, banquets, buffets, weddings and various other outdoor catering events in the UK.
