The Tudor Rose

About

A charming old-fashioned pub in the heart of a Hampshire market town and it pulls in regulars from miles around. Landlady Lisa Moore has been in charge of the highly popular watering hole for 9 years and well liked by the regulars - some of whom have been using it for decades. The pub is over 500 years old and apparently it is haunted. It was used as a brothel at one time and also a hospital for injured soldiers. There is one bar which is unique and we specialise in real ale such as Sharps Doom Bar and Courage Best Bitter. At the rear of the pub is a courtyard garden where many customers sit out, relax and enjoy a pie and a pint at any time of the year. Back inside the ancient building is extremely attractive and 'olde worlde' with its timber ceiling and oak beams and its like take a trip back to Tudor times. On a cold winters day/night the log fire in the bar is lit. Live music every Saturday night & Sunday afternoons. Quiz last Thursday of the month
