No Alcohol ! obviousely these guys never been to Beirut. The food is messed up, adding spices that are not used in any form of lebanese cuisine and presenting eveything badly. Rice with chish taouk, this is unheard of in lebanese cuisine. Would have lliked it to be good but unfortuantely a big disapointement. I hope the one day Marrouch London or any other real Lebanese rstaurent decides to open in the North.

Average food. Decent vibe. Had the chicken wrap and it was not evenly distributed between chicken and salad. Which made for some rather boring bites

Portions are (way) too big.Nice babaganoush.Tried kabsa, delicious rice. Nice balance with spices.Tender cooked meat.Roomana was a disappoint.Could be better, good for the price.Strong service, real hospitality.

Coming from Dubai, I am always comparing Arab restaurants to it. I heard from friends that this restaurant’s shawarma is the best in the area. I tried out their mixed shawarma platter and it was delicious, from the fries to the salad to the much anticipated shawarma (lamb and chicken). Very legit taste of shawarma with quality and price (though price was a bit more than Dubai but we can’t be too picky). I would say it’s enough for 2, though I was quite hungry, I managed to finish it off. Bread is not included. I would most likely order from here again.

This place looks like a take away but don’t be fooled. One of the nicest kebabs you will ever have. Get the lamb….best thing ever :))

Bustly, authentic Lebanese cafe. Finally made it to this Lebanese cafe on Bold Street. Exactly as I’d hoped. Friendly, busy, authentic, good value…service somewhat absent(minded) but great lamb shawarma wrap in proper smoky flatbread, a side of grilled halloumi with a parsley/onion/tomato/olive salad and more flatbread, and a very moreish pomengranate and orange blossom juice and an arabic coffee. All portions were generous (apart from they forgot my pickles, and the pickles are only gherkins, plus it would be nice to have the option of some fiery heat from something). But definitely going to go back to try some of the other mezze, and also their main dishes.
