Value for money. Been a few times. It has the same menu as Bistro Jacques and the same deals, which are good value for money. The staff are always friendly and professional. The dauphinoise potatoes are worth having. We never book and always manage to get a table apart from Saturday evenings when it’s very busy.
Tempted to lick the plate clean =p. The food here was really tasty. I really enjoyed the rich deep sauces that made the dishes, particularly in the mushroom starter (I asked for extra bread to mop all the sauce lol). They did make a mistake with the main course but this was promptly rectified. The staff were all very polite and welcoming.

Nice place and food. Been here once. Had the set menu (Lunch Rapido) which was hand written suggesting the menu is variable and you can have a new experience every visit. The food was excellent across the three courses and service was good too. The decor of the restaurant was very nice too. The Learn to Speak French tapes being played in the toilets were very funny!The place was very busy so you may want to book. OR go to their sister restaurant Bistro Jaques on Hardman Street which has similar if not identical menu and pricing and is usually less busy.
Good food, friendly attentive & efficient waiters. The pre-theatre specials are very good value. Fri through sat – phone ahead & make a reservation, gets VERY busy.
