Good service and food. Always enjoyed it here. Good place to meet with people as the tables are big and not crowded in. Conversation is easy because its not too noisy – yet the place also has atmosphere. The bar always has some atmosphere even on a quiet night. The lavatory is worth a comment (!)… make sure you leave yourself plenty of time as they are miles away and down several flight of stairs.
Good food but pricey. The food has always been good in my experience. I’ve enjoyed the ceasar salad and the steaks in particular. It is quite expensive and doesn’t offer anything different on the menu. It has modern decor and is too brightly lit in my opinion so lacks intimacy. The staff can be hit and miss; some are a little snobbish but others have been good. You often need to book for an evening.
